iOS apps that we also would like to have for Android

We all love Android, but also use other systems, such as Apple's iOS. Today we introduce you to five iOS apps, we also would like to have for our Android devices.

Wikipanion

For iOS there are many chic Wikipedia apps, my favorite is currently Wikipanion . The app not only perfectly adapts to the new design of 7 to iOS, it is also easy to use and offers many features, including, for example, a quick change between languages, display of articles with GeoNames and quick access to categories.

There are for Android inter alia, the official Wikipedia app , but this was the last time you updated in October 2013, is not as comfortable to use by far and also does not fit the design of Android 4.x. One notable alternative would still LoboWiki , but there does not stop there.

Tweetbot

Tweetbot is a wonderful Twitter app with loads of features that beats the official application of Twitter by far. There are many personalization options, a perfectly tuned design on iOS 7, gesture control and, of course, also be embedded media from Instagram, Vine and Co. displayed directly in the app.

There are also some good Twitter apps, including Android Carbon , Tweedle and Talon . From the functions, operation and design they come but not quite up to Tweetbot.

Monument Valley

Mostly appearing Games and Apps for iOS and only then with plenty of delay also for Android. So even Monument Valley . An Android version is announced but a specific date are not yet available. Monument Valley is a puzzle game in which you control a princess from the isometric perspective. Optical obstacles and dead ends block the way to the target and must be overcome.

Partly Cloudy

Weather Apps There are many, both Android and iOS, but none is so minimalist yet functional as Partly Cloudy for iOS. This app needs to be thought of as "infographic", in which the weather is displayed on a dial that resembles a clock. There are various information is displayed, including temperature, rain probability and wind strength. In addition, you can select from different weather providers.

Here are some examples of successful and beautiful Android Weather Apps: Weather Love , Eye In Sky Weather , 1Weather .

Mextures

With this app, photos can be provided in an instant with textures and filters to give them a personal and surreal look. Exactly what I need for the generation Instagram. Mextures offers over 130 different textures and can be operated easily.

There are also some photo editing apps for Android, but not so provides comprehensive texture collections such Mextures . Examples: Snapseed , Adobe Photoshop Express Pixlr Express or the Photos app of Google+ .

You know of any apps from other platforms that you would like to see available for Android?
